Folding Civil War Chaise - before - cast iron frame, porcelain wheels (metal frame and wheels repaired by Bruce H Kreymborg), wooden removeable frames (repaired by Jeff Mager), lower section was double sided cane and holes went thru.  Both sides caned at the same time. When lower panel is folded up it can be used as a chair vs a chaise when folded down.

Folding Civil War Chaise - after - cane was also two differnt sizes - vertical and horizontal lines were medium cane and the diagonals were fine fine cane. Back 118 holes, seat 116 holes and lower double pannel 104 holes per side.
